The St. Anthony’s Bible Study group is affiliated with the Men of Christ and the Knights of Columbus Council 973.

Most recently, we have partnered with the women of the parish for joint meetings.

This years joint study is:

"Stunned by Scripture: How the Bible Made Me Catholic"

Why does the Catholic Church seem to focus on so many things that aren't Scriptural?

Or so thought former Protestant pastor John Bergsma.

Join us for this engaging examination of things Dr. Bergsma once considered obstacles to ever becoming Catholic himself.

Over his eighteen-month spiritual journey, Bergsma was stunned again and again by the biblical support he found

for even the stickiest teachings of the Catholic Church.

Dr. Bergsma explores seven key Catholic doctrines, including:

• The Pope Devotion to Mary
• Confession
• The Eucharist
• The priesthood
• Belief in the Bible alone
• Salvation by faith alone theologies

Stunned by Scripture will help Catholics understand, defend, and explain the biblical basis for the Faith and show them how the Bible solidly supports even the most frequently misunderstood Catholic teachings.

We begin on Thursday evenings at 6:00 pm in the Ministries Room with opening prayer and dinner (come hungry)

**For those who can make it Eucharistic Adoration is available in church from 11am until 6 pm prior to the meeting.
