Human Concerns

Introducing our St. Anthony's Human Concerns Committee

The Archdiocese Pastoral Council/Commission outlines various areas where a Human Concerns Committee can make an impact. Essentially, the committee's purpose is to identify the needs of both the parish and the broader community, with a particular focus on supporting the poor, disadvantaged, and elderly.

Our dedicated committee members include Mary Andrews as chair, along with Mary Ann and Dick Adamson, Ellie Espinosa, Judy Ilada, Kay Jensen, Marion Richardson, Betty Solum, and Al Tarstitano.

Our parishioners may be familiar with our initiatives such as the Christmas Giving Tree, the Alzheimer's Walk, the Blood Drive, and the First Responders' Mass. We also organize collections of school supplies for underprivileged Kenosha children, distribute Right to Life key chains (or other items), offer Mother's and Father's Day items, and host various other community activities. Additionally, we are the ones who extend warm birthday wishes on behalf of our parish.

As an active and dedicated group within our parish, our members are both creative and hardworking, sharing a deep love for Jesus, our church, and the community we serve.
